I’m an American ex-pat now living in the UK and a proud mother of 6. I love books and all things relating to the home whether it be family life, interior design, arts and crafts or up-cycling. I love improving the aesthetics of things.
I believe in God and that life has purpose. Our main purpose–our calling– is to love. It is up to us to discover what our natural gifting is and to use that to love and to serve. I believe that experiencing a good and joyful life requires some creativity and being actively engaged in our lives. I am a Christian but prefer to describe myself as spiritual rather than religious. I believe everyone of different faiths and spiritual beliefs have something to share and that therefore we each offer a piece of the puzzle of the great mystery of life (even if you don’t believe in God at all). We all have much to learn from each other.
In my blog, you will find posts on all my favourite topics–spirituality, family stories and reflections, book reviews, interior design and decorating, crafts and up-cycling projects I am working on and natural health. I humbly state that I am a novice in all things so I am simply inviting you to join me on my journey.
